  1. Sandy Millin says:

Am going to go for third time lucky: How do you approach exam classes?

  2. It’s time will come, Sandy, and may be this is the week for it! Good luck with the voting!

  3. Ola Bakri says:

I would go with effective methods to organize your board!

  4. Two good ideas from Sandy and Ola already!

  5. Here is my contribution: “How do you use music in class?”

    Hope it is worthy.

  6. Yes, I agree with Richard. I like both Sandy’s and Ola’s choices. I think exam classes do require special techniques, so that would be interesting to compare teachers’ different approaches.

I could also learn a lot from the topic “methods to organise your board” as my board work is a bit wild and all over the place, to put it mildly. It would be great to share tips on this!

  7. Agreed there, Rich. I’d be happy to see/read/participate in ELTchats on either of those topics =)

  8. Should we only teach authentic literature (stories, poems, plays) or are simplified pieces acceptable?

  9. Anne Sinclair says:

How about: How do you teach advanced level students?

  10. I didn’t realise that the topic about music was discussed three weeks ago. My bad. Perhaps another suggestion: “Is technology in the classroom a toy or a tool?”

  11. To to deal with disruptive behavior

  12. maria spyrou says:

how about the use of the self access system which gave me a bad headache but i found really interesting and educational [my students too]

  13. Ann Foreman says:

I’d like to talk about how we can help our students to build their Personal Learning Environments.

  14. Doaa Zakaria says:

I agree with Sandy. I do need help with exam preparation courses especially IELTS and BEC

  15. Nikki Fortova says:

Nice suggestion Sandy, I’d find any ideas for teaching exam classes really helpful at the moment, as well as ideas for learner training.

  16. Exam preparation sounds like it’s getting this forum vote. I’d go for that too. I never taught it in class, only with private students. It’d be good to hear what others are doing for this on a global level. Cheers 🙂

  17. Yekaterina says:

Another suggestion is – recycling. I find it the key to successful learning and, sometimes, it can become overwhelming… I’m sure there’s a lot to discuss here. Other suggestions are also great.

  18. A bit of an ESOLish one, but maybe of interest to others:

How do you teach a second (third or fourth) language to someone with a low level of literacy in their first language?

  19. BobK99 says:

    Wh….? Where do I vote?
