Since we started #ELTchat in September 2010, we have discussed a wide number of topics, but with many new members joining our conversations every week, it is very natural that we will get requests for topics which we “have done”.

How can we show that our profession should be respected? We are always seen as the poor relation,a situation not helped by unqualified EFL teachers. Do we need to have more qualifications? Or a Body which oversees quality?
Using Edmodo with students. How do you use and encourage your students to use Edmodo to learn from and interact with each other outside the classroom?
How can we use what we have learned throughout the year and implement it well in the next academic year. Also What ideas are people planning on implementing in the next academic year.
When you are thinking of your next move – maybe that’s your next school, maybe that’s your next qualification – what do you hold to be the most important aspects to consider. What are the good and bad signals you see when considering a new organisation or school for employment. Are there any tell tale signs that the experienced eye would catch that the inexperienced might overlook?
