Once the moderators have reviewed the topics they create an online poll and <a style=\"color: #678fcf;\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20160924224843\/https:\/\/twitter.com\/ELTchat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#ELTchat<\/a> followers are asked to vote.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #678fcf;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #678fcf;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #678fcf;\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20160924224843\/http:\/\/eltchat.org\/wordpress\/eltchat-summaries-index\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Summaries and Transcripts Index<\/a><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #678fcf;\"> <strong> At the end of the chat someone \u2018volunteers\u2019 to make a Summary of the discussion, the moderators providing the Transcript.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/eltchat.org\/wordpress\/summary\/what-is-your-favorite-tool-in-english-teaching-or-english-learning-eltchat-summary-161116\/attachment\/back-to-school\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7668\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-7668 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/eltchat.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/back-to-school-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"back-to-school\" width=\"710\" height=\"710\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Most of the tools that were mentioned on <strong>16th November 2016<\/strong>.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Whiteboards.<\/strong> I think we were unanimous in putting these first as the in terms of usefulness. . Mini-whiteboards (either laminate A4 or stick in a polypocket) suggested by Teresa Bestwick. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.magicwhiteboard.co.uk\/category\/magic-whiteboard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Magic Whiteboard<\/a><\/strong> could be useful but it\u2019s pricey.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coloured markers<\/strong>: another polyvalent low tech tool.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cork bulletin boards.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Interactive whiteboards were<\/strong> not so popular but I find <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/explaineverything.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Explain Everything<\/a><\/strong> intriguing.<\/li>\n<li>Marisa Constantinides has created a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/padlet.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Padlet<\/a><\/strong> with all the tools that were suggested here:<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/padlet.com\/marisa_constant\/qatb6divv8wj\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#ELTchat Tools Swapshop<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A lot of people use various Google Tools:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gsuite.google.com\/intl\/en_ie\/products\/docs\/?utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_campaign=emea-gr-all-en-dr-bkws-all-all-trial-e-t4&amp;utm_content=text-ad-none-any-DEV_c-CRE_146199635883-ADGP_%5B1:1%5D_GR_EN_BK_EXA_Docs_Google%20doc-KWID_43700009066217381&amp;utm_term=KW_google%20doc-ST_google%20doc&amp;gclid=CjwKEAiApLDBBRC8oICb9NvKsg0SJAD9yOHsLd_GqQtrI0MJPl3xT43hAL2Ykhh_ZitajbilQKL8IRoCwxfw_wcB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Docs<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gsuite.google.com\/learning-center\/products\/slides\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Slides<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I think that the only <strong>Content Management System<\/strong> mentioned was <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/WordPress\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WordPress<\/a><\/strong>. Google Tools can\u00a0easily be inserted into WordPress pages with the addon:<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/sz-google\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google for WordPress<\/a><\/strong>.* I think there\u2019s a similar tool for Moodle.<\/li>\n<li>On the other hand several <strong>Learning Mangement Systems<\/strong> were mentioned\u00a0which have integrated tools (forums, wikis, etc.) and students\u2019 work can be tracked and graded.<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/moodle.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Moodle<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edmodo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Edmondo<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canvaslms.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canvas<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Who doesn\u2019t know <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/kindle-dbs\/fd\/kcp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kindle<\/a><\/strong>?
