My tree by @SueAnnan on #eltpics
Seasons greetings #ELTchatters
If you have come here looking to vote for this week’s chat, thank you, but we’re having a Christmas break and will be back on January 4, 2012.
But we have a lot of goodies for you in our #ELTChat Christmas Stocking!
Our Podcasts are back!!!!
At our first birthday party in September, one of the things people asked for was the return of the podcasts, so like the Christmas fairy granting a Christmas wish, we are pleased to bring you the first of the podcast of our new podcasts series
The podcast was put together by @theteacherjames and a team of volunteers on #ELTchat, who hope to bring you a regular podcast every month.
Every month, you’ll get to hear a summary of recent chats, interviews with regular #ELTchat participants and a host of other things to keep you entertained.
This month’s podcast
This first of the new series includes:
- An introduction to #ELTchat and a little bit of how it all started from #ELTchat moderator @Marisa_C
- An overview of recent chats bought to you by @sandymillin.
- @vickyloras interviewing @cerirhiannon Here is your chance to find out a little bit more about one of our regulars 🙂
- @shaunwilden speaks to our cousins in #breltchat during his trip to Brazil for a conference.
We hope you enjoy listening and if you have suggestions or wish to volunteer to help with the podcast or any part of #ELTchat then please let us know.

A jolly festive season to you all, dear Mods! Nice to see an #eltpics photo again – thanks! Looking forward to continuing to share, join in, get all hot around the collar, laugh, smile, rush the cooking to try and participate in at least 15 mins of the #eltchat chats… Happy holidays and thank you for some great moments in 2011.

I hope all our fabulous #ELTchat moderators enjoy a well-earned break over Christmas. I joined Twitter only a year ago and then discovered #ELTchat – it has been one of my best experiences of 2011! I count many of the people I’ve met through #ELTchat amongst my most valued colleagues for professional development. I’m looking forward to spending more time with you on Twitter in 2012.
Best wishes to you all for the holiday season ^_^
Merry Christmas to you all. Looking forward to seeing you all every Wednesday in 2012. Happy holidays 🙂
