Propose a topic for the 21st of January – Right here, below the post, as a comment!
Next #ELTchat on Wednesday 21/01 at 21:00 GMT
If you are proposing a topic, please make every effort to join the chat if your topic is chosen. You can find out information about how to follow an #ELTchat here. Please also note that the chat moderators do monitor the voting. Cases of block voting are followed up and, in such a case, the votes will be disqualified and results of poll will be announced on our blog. Since we started #ELTchat in September 2010, we have discussed a wide number of topics, but with many new members joining our conversations every week, it is very natural that we will get requests for topics which we “have done”.
For this upcoming #ELTchat please suggest topics related to the uses of educational technologies (see below why)

Thank you very much for tackling an important topic which is very modern . The topics I might suggest to discuss are : Is it possible to learn languages well online or is f2f essential? ‘ Connectivism and language learning’ ‘engaging in online learning’ .
I propose to reviwe how to use a smart board as interactive tool for language learning, I would like some concrete examples of using smart boards in class. How engaging could it be. Also, I would like to know if there is a tool to set virtual classes with my students.
